Ha Ha Tonka Wedding - Elopement - Sable Photo Co.

Ha Ha Tonka Wedding – This elopement with Meagan and Cord was nothing short of a dream. Meagan reached out to me over a year ago about eloping with their three kids in tow. We instantly came up with the idea of a Ha Ha Tonka wedding together. Not only is the location itself gorgeous–I mean, if castle ruins, land bridges, natural rock walls, and Table Rock Lake overlooks don’t do it for you, I just don’t know what to tell you–but we knew it would be a convenient spot for eloping with kids!

The couple booked a stay at The Four Seasons Lodge. Their room had a beautiful overlook of the Table Rock Lake, and the Lodge’s garden provided the perfect backdrop for a first look.

I LOVE when my couples let me photograph them writing their vows! It’s such a special part of the process.

After their first look, Megan and Cord gave small sentimental gifts to their children. It was such a special way to keep them included throughout the day!

After their ceremony, the couple said goodbye to the kids and spent the final hours before sunset dancing, talking, and enjoying one another while I snapped away.

Cord surprised Megan by bringing along some window chalk so they could decorate their car themselves.

The sunset that evening was absolutely incredible! Along with the Castle Ruins at Ha Ha Tonka, it created the perfect backdrop for some pie from Megan and Cord’s favorite, Slice of Pie.

At the very end of the evening, we took some photos to announce Megan and Cord’s other exciting news–they’re expecting!
